When you embed one of your YouTube videos on your own website, don’t just put the video on the page.
At the very least, include a short description of that video. Search engines depend upon text to do their work, so having a bit of text on your video’s page is important.
You could go a step further and publish a full transcript of your video’s audio track on your webpage.
And if your website has a tagging system, be sure to tag up your video with relevant keywords.

If you can stand doing three or four of these projects at the same time, this would be a good way to test products. In that case, I would shorten the production schedule, make a single half hour video per project, make it available for streaming/download and see which one pulls the strongest.
Then, expand on the winning project and produce the three DVD set. But if the test project pulled strong enough, I’d go ahead and pre-order the 1000 units and go for a big launch and try to sell …
