If you can stand doing three or four of these projects at the same time, this would be a good way to test products. In that case, I would shorten the production schedule, make a single half hour video per project, make it available for streaming/download and see which one pulls the strongest.

Then, expand on the winning project and produce the three DVD set. But if the test project pulled strong enough, I’d go ahead and pre-order the 1000 units and go for a big launch and try to sell all 1000 within 30 days.
